Transitions for Children with Special Education Needs
In partnership with the Western Quebec School Board’s Special Education Advisory Committee, Connexions will be leading a webinar to support families of children and youth with special needs as they experience various transitions on October 21. See the attached poster for more details.

Graduation Fundraiser
We will be holding our first Graduation Fundraiser on October 1. Students can enjoy a flavour bursting Boba Tea on October 1st.
National Day of Truth and Reconciliation
We encourage you and your child to wear orange on September 30 as we take this time to honour Survivors, remember those who didn’t return home, and promote education and reflection. We will be taking part in a school community art project as well.
Governing Board
We will be holding our first Governing Board meeting on October 1.
Friendship Snack
We will be holding our first Friendship Snack September 29th. All students will gather in their cycle community to enjoy this month’s theme, “Muffins and Milk”.
Monday Morning Question
Every Monday students have a question that is discussed as a classroom community. You may want to have the same question as a family, bringing home and school together. This week’s question is, how do you know if your words or actions make someone feel welcome?
Connexions
Connexions is hosting free parenting workshops on October 1, 28, November 4, 11, 18, 25. Looking at topics that include managing behaviours, establishing routines, and self-care for parents. See the attached flyers (in English and French) for more information.
