    What’s Happening at Eardley? October 24, 2025

    Home and School (H&S)

And let the fun begin. Below are upcoming events organized by our Home and School. Please see the attached flyers for more information and for the November meal calendar.

    October 24- Tonight!!! Halloween Dance
    November 5- Aydelu Bingo Fundraiser

    Monday Morning Question

Every Monday students have a question that is discussed as a classroom community. You may want to have the same question as a family, bringing home and school together. This week’s question is, how do small acts of kindness make a big difference?

    Governing Board

Our next governing board meeting is October 29

Virtual Red Cross “Stay Safe” Course

Please see the attached flyer for a course offered to grade 4 and 5 on November 6 (PD Day). This is not an Eardley event but rather one shared with you should it be something you are interested in having your child take part in.

Free Parent Session with Dr. Michael Ungar

Dr. Michael Ungar is offering a free online Webinar on Monday, October 27, 2025 for our parent community. The focus of the session is Nurturing Resilience: Nine Ways Families, Schools, and Communities can Help Children Thrive.  Attached is the flyer with registration and session link.

    Accessible Halloween

PETES is hosting an accessible Halloween on October 31 from 5pm-8pm. This is for students who are not able to fully take part in the traditional Halloween experience due to their individual special needs. Please see the attached info sheet and flyer.

    Crossing Guard Verification Process

The City of Gatineau’s Infrastructure Department conducts an annual risk assessment for school crossings.  To this end, the School Crossing Guards (adults) in the city will collect data on the school age students who cross at intersections (where crossing guards are assigned) following established procedures.  The count will be conducted on November 17, 2025. (Rain date will be a day the following 2 weeks).
