    What’s Happening at Eardley? April 2, 2026

    Eardley Clothing Swap & Trade

Join us for our upcoming Clothing Swap & Trade! This is a wonderful opportunity to refresh your child’s wardrobe while supporting our school community. Children come in all sizes so all sizes are welcome. Please stick to clothing only, no shoes or equipment.

    How it works:

    ·       Bring a bag to collect your items

    ·       Clothing must be clean and in good condition, suitable for another child

    ·       Clothing only (no toys or other items)

    ·       Families will drop off items and sort them by size upon arrival

    ·       Browse and shop

    Drop-off note:
We will also accept bags of clothing on Friday, April 10, provided the items are already bagged and sorted by size in individual bags. No Donation? No problem! You are welcome to shop even if you are unable to bring items. All remaining clothing will be donated at the end of the day.

    Event Schedule:

    ·       Date: April 12, 2026

    ·       Drop-off: 9:30 – 10:00 AM (no drop offs past 10:30)

    ·       Shopping: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

    Graduation Photos

Grade 6 graduation photos will take place April 9. Please see the attached letter for tips to ensure a good photo

    Re-registration

Kim Teske sent an email earlier this week regarding re-registration. Please complete this process online prior to the closing date. This makes the process much easier and prevents us from having to chase families. The deadline to complete the online process is April 6.

    Home and School

    April 17– Spring Dance 6:00pm – 8:30pm

    Grade 6 Fundraisers

    April 8– Doughnuts $4 (2 donuts)

    April 16– Bake Sale

    April 22– Lunchtime Bingo, $5

    April 29– Freezies, $3

    Monday Morning Question

Every Monday students have a question that is discussed as a classroom community. You may want to have the same question as a family, bringing home and school together. This week’s question is how do you handle it if someone makes fun of you?

    April 17- Claw Back Date

April 17was designated as a claw back date should there be a school closure. Since the school was closed on March 11, April 17 will now be a regular school day (Day 4).

    Together for Autism

April 25 from 10:00-2:00 at Hadley Philemon High School there is an event open to everyone. This is a community event with a lot of fun activities and food. Please see the attached flyer to register.

    Save the Date

The Symmes Open House for parents/guardians of grade 6 students will take place the evening of April 29 at 6:00pm. This is the same date as our planned visit with our grade 6 students.

    Clic École

You received an email from the WQSB regarding the new Clic Ecole app. The MParent app is not longer being used. Please delete it and use the new app for accessing report cards, getting transportation updates, school/daycare fees and tax receipts.

Have a great long weekend! See you Tuesday.
