    Financial Education Session

    • We are hosting a financial education session for Eardley families on May 21 at 5:00pm at Eardley School. The goal of the presentation is to equip families with simple tools and knowledge to empower them to make smart personal finance decisions. The topics covered are The Psychology of Money, Personal Budgeting, Common Goals and Debt Strategy, and 5 Simple Rules of Investing. These topics are geared towards all families with varied financial realities. No childcare? No problem. We will have a movie playing for those who do not have childcare. This will allow the adults to focus on the information.

    Family Activity Night

    • Eardley is hosting Family Activity Night on May 23 at 5:00pm at Eardley School. The focus of this session is Family Trees. There will also be a selection of books for children to choose from and bring home for their personal libraries.

    Home and School Dance

Yo, it’s Eardley Elementary, listen up the news is bright

Got a dance party coming, gonna fill the school with light.

May 24th, mark the date, six to eight, that’s the time

Sun-Sational Dance,  gonna blow your mind!

Hot days, cool treats, that’s the way we roll

Disco ball spinnin’, music takin’ control

Gonna bust a move, with your best friend by your side

Groovin’ to the rhythm, with nothin’ to hide

Dress up funky, wear your brightest smile

‘Cause this ain’t your grandma’s dance, it’s gonna go a wild style

Slide across the floor, do the robot and the bop

Let your inner dancer out, it’s time to make it pop!

Eardley Eardley, let the good times flow

Sun-Sational Dance, the place to be, you know?

So grab your friends, put on your dancin’ shoes

May 24th is here, what are you waitin’ to lose

Social Media and Your Kids Workshop

    • Eardley and Media Smarts are hosting an online workshop on May 30 at 5:00pm. The purpose of this workshop is to help parents better understand how their children are using social networking and to provide them with tips and tools they can use to help minimize negative experiences and maximize the positive opportunities that social media has to offer.

Drag Story Hour Evening at Eardley

    • Eardley is hosting Drag Story Hour on May 31 at 6:00pm (doors open at 5:30pm). Join us for family evening of fun and reading with a message of being yourself.

    Author Jen Bailey Visit

    • Students will be visited by award-winning children’s author, Jen Bailey. Ms. Bailey will be reading and presenting a story writing workshop to our students.

    Parking Lot

Please make sure you are parking in designated parking space. Vehicles are not permitted to park along the exit lane.

    Ministry Exams

Ministry assessments have begun and will continue through June. Although we do not want to create stress for students by highlighting these evaluation situations as something more than another piece of evidence towards their learning, we would like to request that your children be present at school as much as possible. Catching students up for missed classes can be a challenge due to the limited time frame for administration of the assessments. Thank you in advance for your support.

    Illnesses

As in any elementary school, common illnesses/inconvenient ailments are a frequent occurrence. Please do not send your child to school if their symptoms are present and negatively impacting their day. If your child is showing signs of discomfort, we will call home for pick up. Below is a guide for when your child should stay home.
