    What’s Happening At Eardley? May 3, 2025

    May 3, 2025

    What’s Happening at Eardley?

    Lost and Found

Earlier this week, I sent an email with photos of the 6 lost and found tables. Please have a look at the photos in order to reunite items with their owners. I cannot stress enough the importance of labelling, especially sweatshirts at this time of year. We have chilly mornings, but children shed layers as the day warms up.

    Ottawa Children’s Choir

Please see the attached documents for an invitation and information regarding an opportunity to take part in the children’s choir in Ottawa.

    Natural Art Installation

Marc Walter was at Eardley this week working with classes on a community art project. Have a look at the front of the school for our wolf land art.

    Home and School

Eardley Garage Sale will take place May 10 from 9:00am-3:00pm. Please see attached flyer for details.

Aydelu Bingo Fundraiser will take place May 28. Please see attached flyer for more details.

There will be hotdog, corn dog, pancake and Subway lunches available for purchase. Please see the attached flyer for more details.

    Grade 6 Fundraiser

The grade 6’s would like to have a cake raffle May 9. This fundraiser will support a special dinner for our graduates and their families. Tickets are $1 each. With this we are also asking for your support. If you would like to donate a cake for the raffle, we would greatly appreciate it.

    Michal Unger

Our resource team attended a great professional development workshop this week on resilience. Michael Unger also does parent workshops. Attached you will find a handout provide to us entitled, “9 Things all Children Need”. If you visit his website, you will find more information that might interest you.
