In partnership with the Western Quebec School Board’s Special Education Advisory Committee, Connexions will be leading a webinar to support families of children and youth with special needs as they experience various transitions on October 21. See the attached poster for more details.

Monday Morning Question
Every Monday students have a question that is discussed as a classroom community. You may want to have the same question as a family, bringing home and school together. This week’s question is, what does teamwork look like in the classroom?
Mad Science
We are almost at enough students to run a class. The deadline to sign up is October 21 for the October 27 start date. Mad Science will be offering lunch hour activities to students in grades K5-6. Please see the attached flyer if you would like to sign your child up.
Grade 6 Fundraiser
Cake Raffle but…we need your help. If you would like to support the raffle by donating a cake on the morning of October 24, we would appreciate the support. Please see the attached flyer.

Virtual Red Cross “Stay Safe” Course
Please see the attached flyer for a course offered to grade 4 and 5 on November 6 (PD Day). This is not an Eardley event but rather one shared with you should it be something you are interested in having your child take part in.
Free Parent Session with Dr. Michael Ungar
Dr. Michael Ungar is offering a free online Webinar on Monday, October 27, 2025 for our parent community. The focus of the session is Nurturing Resilience: Nine Ways Families, Schools, and Communities can Help Children Thrive. Attached is the flyer with registration and session link.
Accessible Halloween
PETES is hosting an accessible Halloween on October 31 from 5pm-8pm. This is for students who are not able to fully take part in the traditional Halloween experience due to their individual special needs. Please see the attached info sheet and flyer.
