Monday Morning Question
Every Monday students have a question that is discussed as a classroom community. You may want to have the same question as a family, bringing home and school together. This week’s question is, how do mistakes help us learn?
Report Cards
Report cards will be available through Mosaik on November 18.
Interviews
Interviews will take place the evening of November 27 and during the day on November 28. You will receive information from your child’s teacher on booking at interview.
Connection Through Inclusion
Last year, one of our parents and Governing Board members facilitated an activity night for children who have special needs called Connection Through Inclusion. He will be running this program again this year. The activity runs on Monday nights at 6:00 and is a fun way for children and families to connect with each other. Please visit the link below it you’re interested. We are hoping the first session will be November 17.

Remembrance Day

Family Activity Night
Family Activity Night will take place on Thursday, November 13 at 5:00 at Eardley in the MPR. The focus for this session is greeting cards. Students will be provided with the supplies needed to create greeting cards. They also take home a FREE book to add to their home libraries.
Wheelchair Basketball
Students in grades 5 and 6 will take part in a show of skill from the IWBF Wheelchair Basketball World Championships on Friday, November 14. Not only will students witness great athleticism, they will also receive the message of the importance of inclusivity, diversity and accessibility. Attached is the website link if you are interested in having a look. https://ottawa2026.ca/schools-program/
Winter Wear
Winter has arrived! Please make sure your child has the necessary winter wear. Sending extra socks, mittens and a change of clothes is recommended. Labelling items is VERY important. The season of missing mittens and winter items has begun. Consider beginning a routine at home of putting mittens in their bag or sleeve that can be transferred to school. This will support in avoiding lost items in the halls.
School Fees
This is a reminder to please pay your school fees. Thank you to those who have already settled their account. If you have not yet paid your fees, your balance is available through Mosaik. We will soon begin the long process of contacting individual families. Settling your account will make for less work for our office staff. Thank you in advance.
