Good Morning Eardley Community,
I hope this email finds you and your loved ones safe and well. I have a short update for you today, please see below. This update comes after Premier Legault held a press conference yesterday to update on the current situation across Quebec.
- New
Measures
- Please find attached a letter from George Singfield, our Secretary General indicating the new measures.
- What’s New?
- Students in grades 1-6 are now mandated to wear procedural masks in common areas, classrooms and busses. Masks are not mandated outside on the playground.
- When can my child remove their procedural mask? When they are eating or drinking.
- Three procedural masks will be provided each day – one during homeroom, one after lunch and one just before the students are dismissed for the day.
- Extra-Curricular Activities will no longer be permitted, as we are in a designated “Red Zone”
- Class Outings are still permitted by class bubble only.
- Expected
Date of Return
- As it stands right now, our expected date of return is Monday, April 12th.
- If there are any changes or an extended closure, I will inform our community as soon as possible.
- Remote
Learning
- All homeroom teachers held their “Introduction to Remote Learning” class meetings yesterday.
- All parent(s)/guardian(s) received the remote learning schedules from their child’s homeroom teacher.
