Good Evening Eardley Community,
I hope this email finds you safe and well after the Winter Break. Tomorrow we return in an adapted way, nonetheless we here at Eardley are very excited to see our students’ smiling faces in virtual format. I have an important update for you this evening, please see below.
Technology
- The technology pick-up for those who reserved devices by the school’s original deadline was today between 1:00pm and 3:00pm. Our pick-up and delivery went smoothly and I want to thank everyone for their patience as we organized over 60 devices!
- Throughout the holidays we have
received an additional 20 requests for devices, I am happy to announce
that our IT department has come through and delivered the additional
requests this evening.
- Therefore, an additional technology pick-up will take place tomorrow – January 7th between 12:00pm & 2:00pm – same timeframe as our material pick-up. *Only the additional requests made to the school ON OR BEFORE JANUARY 4th have been processed*
- Any requests for technology made on January 5th or later are still being processed and our community will be informed when the devices are ready for pick-up.

- A reminder, when you are making a request to please keep in mind,
- You can request the following –
- a laptop/chromebook
- An internet stick (MIFI) to provide internet in the home
- A laptop/chromebook & MIFI
- If you require access to ANY
technology please do the following –
- Email Hannah Patrick at hpatrick@wqsb.qc.ca
- Include your child(ren)’s names who need access to technology
- Include the type of technology needed – #1, #2 OR #3
