Monday Morning Question
Every Monday students have a question that is discussed as a classroom community. You may want to have the same question as a family, bringing home and school together. This week’s question is, what’s something about yourself you’ve discovered or grown to appreciate this year?
Ministry Assessments
Ministry Math assessments begin next week. We ask that you try as much as possible not to miss school during the assessment period as it is difficult to catch students up when they return. If your child is ill, we understand they will be away.
Upcoming PD Day
June 5- daycare services are available for those who have registered.
Postponed- Leadership Trip- Luskville Caves
The leadership trip to the Luskville Caves planned for June 8 will be postponed to June 15. The caves are not yet open due to flooding.
Kindergarten Orientation
June 5- Eardley will hold a kindergarten orientation beginning at 9:45. Please see the attached flyer for more information.
Grade 6 Graduation
Graduation will take place June 19 at 10:30am. This will be an outdoor celebration. Families are asked to bring a portable chair as there will only be seating for our graduates. Should the weather not cooperate, we will be forced to move the ceremony indoors but there will be a guest limit of 2 people per graduate due to space limitations.
Family Picnic- Save the Date
You’re invited to join us for a picnic in our yard on the last day of school, June 23. All you need is a lawn chair and a packed lunch. Classes will decide on a meeting space and eat together as a classroom community during our regular lunch hour beginning at 11:25am. It’s a nice way to end the year and celebrate as a class with our families.
Planning for Next Year-Program Changes
We have begun planning for next year. If you are considering a program change for your child, French Immersion to English for example, please contact me. It is important that we finalize numbers as we prepare for class groupings for the 26-27 school year. It seems easy to make class changes once the year begins but it is not. Our classes are organized with maximum capacity in mind. Please make these requests now.

Pizza will be on June 8 and 15. Order deadline is the Saturday prior to each date.
Domino’s Crispy Chicken will be on June 10. Order deadline is June 5.
Hotdogs will be on June 12. Order deadline is June 10.
Subway will be on June 17. Order deadline is June 9.
Change of Clothes Reminder
With warmer weather approaching, we encourage families to update their child’s change of clothes to include shorts and a short-sleeved top rather than pants.
